Mike became a partner of the firm in 2005. He has over 25 years of experience in public accounting and currently provides a full range of tax, accounting, and advisory services to individuals, family groups, trusts, estates, and businesses. Mike’s focus includes strategic tax planning, trust & estate planning, and business consulting including choice of business entity.

Mike is a trusted advisor and serves as a professional trustee for many clients. He has experience in several business industries with an emphasis in real estate and professional services.

Outside the office, Mike is an active member of the community, volunteering his time as a board member and treasurer for many non-profit organizations. He enjoys golf, skiing, and spending time with his family. He has volunteered to coach many of his children’s town and club sports teams including baseball and hockey.

Chris became a partner with Howell & Minchello, LLP in February 2020, having already spent over 15 years in the field. Over the course of his extensive career, Chris has acquired a broad range of tax and general accounting knowledge.

Beginning his career as an auditor with a Big 4 firm, Chris later spent 12 years at various prominent universities in the Boston area, most recently serving as Associate Controller. He specializes in audit as well as tax work for places of higher education, small businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates.

Chris loves interacting with his clients of many years and continuing to develop new relationships. He lives in Wayland, MA with his wife and three daughters. In his rare free time, he enjoys hiking, singing, and learning to play the guitar.

In his free time, John enjoys gardening, reading non-tax journals, financial investing, and cruising oceans and rivers.

Gerry is a senior partner of the firm and has nearly 60 years of experience in public accounting. Growing up in Belmont, MA, he became a resident of Lexington in 1965 where he currently resides with his wife Jan.

Gerry specializes in taxation and compliance, but has been recently processing fewer returns as he slowly heads toward retirement. Although he loves working at the firm, Gerry enjoys having more time to spend swimming, skating, dancing, and visiting Cape Cod.

Bradley is an experienced tax professional who joined Howell & Minchello in February 2025, following the merger of his Boston-based accounting firm with the company. With 25 years as a partner at a respected accounting firm and 40 years as a seasoned tax accountant, Bradley possesses a wealth of expertise in serving a diverse client base of individuals and businesses.

Bradley embraces a team-oriented approach, leveraging his extensive background to provide clients with the insights necessary to navigate complex tax issues and business structures. Currently, he specializes in individual and business tax planning, as well as tax preparation for individuals, businesses, and trusts.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Bradley is passionate about spending time with friends and family. He is an avid sports enthusiast, engaging in activities such as tennis, hiking, and skiing. His hobbies also include playing the piano, traveling, and enjoying outdoor adventures with his dog.

Felicia is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in public accounting both in Florida and Massachusetts. She has provided taxation and accounting services for all types of entities, but focuses primarily on small businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations. Felicia is also skilled in QuickBooks troubleshooting and has been a QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2016.

Graduating from the University of Miami, Florida, Felicia received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. In 2007, she relocated from Miami, Florida to the Boston area, where she now applies her skills in taxation and accounting at Howell & Minchello, LLP.

During her free time, Felicia enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Cindy recently relocated from New York to Massachusetts and joined Howell & Minchello, LLP. She brings thirteen years of experience in the field of taxation, beginning with her role managing the IRS-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at Pace University. Cindy has extensive experience in individual and small business tax preparation and planning, and she has successfully represented clients in audits before both federal and state taxing authorities.

Outside the office, Cindy enjoys all winter sports—especially downhill skiing. She travels extensively with her family and, during the summer months, enjoys gardening as a way to restore the natural habitat of her yard.

Angela joined Howell & Minchello, LLP with more than 25 years of experience in public accounting and municipal finance. Her career began at a CPA firm in Springfield, followed by a decade in municipal finance, before she went on to operate her own tax practice in Central Massachusetts. She is currently in the final stages of completing her CPA licensure.

Angela specializes in research and development tax credits for mid-sized corporations and has broad expertise working with individuals, small businesses, corporations, business consulting engagements, and entity formations. She takes great pride in forecasting and understanding each client’s unique needs and finds deep fulfillment in sharing her knowledge with clients and colleagues to help ease today’s economic challenges.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new places. Her greatest passion is the arts—she enjoys singing, painting, drawing, and creative writing. Additional interests include cooking, dancing, gardening, research, and skating. During the off-season, her goals include continuing voice lessons and exhibiting her artwork in a gallery.

Fran joined Howell & Minchello, LLP in 2020, and has been preparing individual tax returns for nearly 10 years. In 2016, she started a sole proprietorship, which provided her with experience in preparing small business returns as well. Fran is also an excellent bookkeeper.

Julyanna has six years of experience in accounting, having worked in Orlando, FL, from 2018 to 2020 and in Boston, MA, since 2021. Outside the office, Julyanna is actively involved in the community. She has dedicated time to mentoring teenagers, encouraging them to be engaged citizens, pursue their education, and build a strong foundation for their future.

Julie began her career as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) before transitioning into taxation. She later stepped away from the profession to raise her family and has since returned to public accounting, spending the past three tax seasons assisting individual and trust clients.

Julie’s greatest passion is spending time with her family. In her free time, she enjoys exercising at the gym, downhill skiing, and running local trails with her giant German Shepherd, Maverick.

Michelle joined Howell & Minchello, LLP in November 2025 and brings 20 years of experience in bookkeeping and tax preparation. She provides taxation and accounting services for a wide range of entities, with a primary focus on small businesses and individual clients.

Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Bryant University and later completed a Master of Science in Accounting at New England College. She has been a licensed CPA since 2012 and recently relocated back to the Boston area after spending a decade in North Carolina.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys running, reading, knitting, and traveling. She also values time spent with her husband and two young children.

Kate joins the administrative team at Howell & Minchello after more than 20 years of teaching K–12 students. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about making learning engaging and encouraging students at every stage to be curious, think critically, and discover the world through meaningful conversation. Having taught a wide range of subjects, her greatest passion lies in literature. As an English and Mathematics double major, Kate also appreciates the elegance of numbers and a perfectly balanced balance sheet.

Outside of work, Kate finds rest and renewal in the great outdoors—gardening, hiking, biking, blading, skiing, or simply reading a book on a blanket beneath a shady tree.
